I saw the plants getting sunlight and the bugs eating the plants and the spiders eating the bugs

I saw a rotting jackfruit, which, although was dead, was still a biotic factor. I wonder if the bacteria/remains are affecting other organisms?

I noticed how the whole rainforest area behind the school was just one big ecosystem, with other ecosystems inside of it.

I saw mosquito consuming my blood, which proves we are not in the top trophic level.

The mosquitoes eating the jackfruit will eventually, get eaten by other organisms and they will only gain 10% of the energy that the mosquito gained after eating the jackfruit.

I learned that if one species is gone then it can affect the whole ecosystem and other species can go extinct too. I also saw fungi appear after one of the plants died.

I saw caterpillars eating the plants, and I saw birds that I assume eat the caterpillars.

What I saw was: -Mushrooms (decomposers) -Plants (producers) -Figs -Jackfruits -Bananas -Ant's (omnivores) -Mosquitoes (carnivores)
These are what I saw these make up the trophic level and food chain together they make the ecosystem.

I noticed a food chain while we were walking. Sunlight --> Plants --> Insects --> Birds I also noticed that there was a bunch of rotting things? Like, dead leaves, broken branches, dead animals, rotting fruit etc. There was a variety of biotic factors, like mosquitos, trees, fruit, leaves, birds, fungi, ants and frogs. There was also some abiotic factors too! Like sunlight, soil... etc. That was fun!

I agree with Anique because inside of ecosystems there are smaller ecosystems to make the bigger ecosystem work.

Would all aquaponics systems be part of the biosphere since they are not naturally part of the world?

There were many ecosystems that I observed such as many different types of flowers. As well as that I saw a mound of dirt with fungi and ants crawling around it, meaning that it was an ecosystem and it showed different levels of the trophic structure. The ants being maybe second level consumers because they eat mosquitos and flys that eat things before them. Then the fungi, which were decomposers of things like the ants and other animals. It's way further down the trophic structure then ants. Finally, I saw butterflies, which are about third level consumers because they also eat ants. This walk was fantastic and it taught me so much!

I noticed that there was a tree with some sort of berry growing on it. One of the berries that already dropped was being carried off by a trail of ants, so I'm assuming that the ants will eat the berry for the glucose and energy. In this case, the ants would be the primary consumer. They could be consumed by any secondary consumer higher up in the trophic structure.

I noticed how some of the trees were producing fruits and that the insects around it were eating it. That tells me that the jackfruit is a producer and the insects are consumers.

I saw a lot of rotting jack fruit. Is jack fruit an important part of the food chain for bugs?

I saw 3 mosquitoes sucking the blood out of Cory, which means that us humans are sometimes not on the top of the Trophic Level.

While we were walking, I noticed a food chain; sunlight, plants, insects, birds, etc. I also saw all of the animals' trophic level. We saw some bananas that were growing, and they were being eaten by some bugs. The bananas were a primary consumer on the trophic scale. I also noticed some biotic factors; trees, fruit, birds, and insects. There were also some abiotic factors; sunlight, soil, and water.
I hope we go on another "eco walk" soon!

How are ecosystems made in the first time? Are animals in the ecosystems made for each other?

I saw a fallen jackfruit (producer) and a lot of insects (consumers) eating the jackfruit.

Why is it that when it rains it's harder to see insects and there are many mosquitos in the rain forest?

I noticed an old rotted jackfruit that had many ants and a bird pecking at the ants. The producer was the jackfruit and the consumers were the ants and then the birds
