I saw a rotting jackfruit being eaten by a lot of bugs, while I was also being bitten by bugs. I also saw some fungi, and some ants.

Some of the trees had some durian growing on it, and on the ground there were some different types of mushrooms.

On our trip today Mr. Martin showed us about three to four snails that were looked dead on the ground with moss. Also, we saw a huge jackfruit that had mold and had fallen to the ground. Does the food chain have to do with any of the disasters that were brought today? I also saw that a lot of mosquitos surrounding my leg, when I was only standing still for 30 sec. Why are the mosquitos so addicted to humans in the forest?

I saw a food chain.
sunlight - plants - insects. The sunlight created the jackfruit and the insects ate it.

I saw lots of life. I saw ants butterflies and even a spider. I also saw plants. That means that on the trophic level, i saw Second level consumers, Producers, third level producers. I also saw mushroom so, i also saw a decomposer

My friend Nicholas was bitten by around 5 mosquitos. I also got bitten by a mosquito. Humans are not on the top of the food web I guess?

I noticed a fallen jack fruit that seemed to be eaten by other animals. Jackfruits are producers and the animal was a consumer.

I noticed some mushrooms on the floor of the forest. They are fungi which eat decomposed animals.

There are mosquitoes, and many people in our class said that they were bitten. We must be the prey, and the mosquitoes are the consumers.

My friend Nicholas and Hajime got bitten by a couple of mosquitos. I guess this shows that humans aren't always at the top of the food web!

I saw lots of ants and a big ant mound. I also saw a rambutan tree and a lot of fallen jackfruits. I saw mushrooms which count as decomposers and mosquitoes which are carnivores.
My question is who in the trophic levels or food chains has the most energy.

I noticed that there were many jackfruits on the trees and the ground. I also noticed that the pieces of jackfruit that fell, had attracted many ants. I realized that the ants are consuming the jackfruit. So the jackfruit is kinda like a producer and the ants are consumers.

On the Ecology walk to the Singapore American School rainforest, I saw fruit like jack fruit that represents a producer because the plant uses the sunlight and produces jackfruit for consumers to eat.
